A note on paid subscriptions
Spoiler: the price is dropping!
Happy Thursday, readers! With the one year anniversary of Magic, Noted quickly approaching, I wanted to shake things up a lil’ bit. Times are changing, and I’d love to have more folks be closer to the magic at a lower price. So, all paid subscriptions — monthly, annually, and Patron of Magic — are cheaper, beginning today.
With that said, I’m also adjusting the frequency that Magic Badges are created and offered. For the last year, they’ve been mailed on a monthly basis. Starting in June, they will be sent every other month. Additionally, subscribers can expect more diverse designs outside the standard circular sticker. I’d love to introduce die-cut designs that allow a bit more creativity from month to month!

Alright — just so we have all this laid out, here’s what the updated subscription details and pricing will look like moving forward (with updates in bolded text):
Free
Access to weekly-ish posts, along with additional content sprinkled throughout
Ability to post comments
Monthly
This tier is dropping a couple bucks, and will now be offered for $5. Hooray! This change will be automatically reflected for all current monthly subscribers
Access to weekly-ish posts, along with additional content sprinkled throughout
Ability to post comments and join community-only chats
A bi-monthly (every other month) Magic Badge sticker mailed to you
Added to my Close Friends list on Instagram, which is where you can find behind-the-scenes details, trip snapshots, and more
Coming soon: early access to new forms of trip-related content!
Annual
This tier is dropping substantially, and will now be offered for $50. Booyah! This change will be automatically reflected for all current annual subscribers
Access to weekly-ish posts, along with additional content sprinkled throughout
Ability to post comments and join community-only chats
A bi-monthly (every other month) Magic Badge sticker mailed to you, plus a bonus sticker that’s included in your first mailing of the billing year

Patron of Magic
This tier is also dropping substantially, and will now be offered for $55. Yay!
Access to weekly-ish posts, along with additional content sprinkled throughout

Again, you’ll automatically see these changes if you’re already a paid subscriber. No action needed! I hope these updates will not only make your bank account a lil’ happier, but also bring new readers and subscribers closer to the magic.
